Daily Discovering God 2

I am daily discovering God’s wIll for my life by developing an atmosphere where God’s voice can be heard . . .

Mark 1:35, Psalm 104:34, 1 Kings 19:11

In the noise that often surrounds me I do not always hear clearly what God is saying and can become insensitive to the prompting of His Spirit. In order that I may sense the presence of God and be lead by His will, I commit myself to providing an atmosphere where I can sense more fully the presence of God and hear his word evermore clearly. This requires foremost, providing a quiet time and a quiet place where I can hear God through his word, and speak to him through prayer and supplication from my heart.

With a humble heart and a surrendered spirit, it is in prayer that I will seek with sincerity and receive with gratitude the will of God for my life. I will endeavor to protect and develop the atmosphere that surrounds me, as well as the atmosphere that is within me. Aware that Satan will attempt to use my mind as well as my physical being to gain access to the atmosphere of my soul, I pay close attention to what my eyes observe, my ears hear, my hands touch, and the path my feet walk upon. As I make time daily to mediate upon the Lord even in the night watches and early morning, I can expect the presence of God and find rest and peace for my soul.

Mark 1:35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
